Kev has had a passion for dogs all his life and started training with Linda in 2012 with his Springer Spaniel, Lucy, where he discovered the dog sport of Working Trials and has since gone on to successfully compete with his working cocker spaniel, Lottie and his Labrador Renco and is now training his GSD Narla for competition.
He found the dog training so enjoyable and addictive that he shadowed Linda as she took training classes and 1-1 training to gain experience to enable him to become a trainer.
He’s been on various training courses and has become an extremely valued member of Smart K9s running general pet classes, 1-1 training and Scentwork classes. Scentwork has become Kev’s passion and he is now a Scentwork UK Recognised Trainer for Levels 1-4 as well as a Trials judge and Trials Manager.
Kev and Linda have also recently become Mantrailing UK instructors and will be running Introduction Courses and Progression sessions for this hugely popular and fun activity.
